"Be watchful, stand firm in the faith,
act like men, be strong."
1 Corinthians 16:13
Men's Ministries have two distinct parts in the MFBC Body. Our Brotherhood is the outreach arm. And Men's Ministry is the inreach/discipleship arm. Together, they build men up in the church and community that will build up all others they serve.
Brotherhood
Brotherhood Supper
Once a quarter, men from the church and around the community get together for an awesome meal and great speaker.
- Keep an eye on the calendar to find out the next date, time, and who will be speaking.
Nursing Home Visitation
This group greets residents in the activity room and catch up before participating in singing of hymns and a devotional. Some things do your heart good when you raise others in the spirit of Jesus Christ. This ministry really inspires the residents to have visitors from the church take time to join in this wondrous affair.
- Fourth Wednesday of each month at 10:00am. Led by our staff, but the invitation is still for anyone who would like to meet at the third floor of the hospital, where the nursing home is located.
Prison Farm Ministry
This group gathers for fellowship and sharing in the scriptures. Enjoy testimonies by the brotherhood and often times, the prisoners themselves. This truly carries out the message Paul began thousands of years ago. “So do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord or of me, His prisoner. Instead, join me in suffering for the gospel by the power of God… For the Lord will deliver you from every evil and will save you for His own special glory.” (2 Timothy 1:8–10) Help us enlighten more people to the ways of Jesus Christ with this ministry. The blessing will be yours when you meet this group of men that oftentimes have a great knowledge of the Bible.
- First Sunday of each month at 4:30pm, led by Jamie Roberts, meet at the Marion County Prison farm.

Men's Ministry
Events for this group appear on the calendar as they get nearer. This ministry is a stage of expansion and includes or will include events such as Man Church (held at Langston Baptist Church), skeet shooting, camping and wilderness exploration, sporting events, and many others. And many activities also include sons, as a way to pass on the mantle of Godly manhood.
