Core Groups

All of our Core Groups are designed to prioritize making connections and Biblical literacy under the primary goal of disciples making disciples. The Center for Bible Engagement revealed in 2023 that there is a significant surge in spiritual health of people who engage with the Bible 4 or more times per week. And those who engage with the Bible 3 or less times per week have similar scores as someone who is lost or does not engage with the Bible at all. That’s why these core groups are essential for encouraging their members to read the Bible daily. It is part of our church culture that every member participates in a core group most of the time that group meets.

Sunday School classes are for all ages on Sunday mornings at 9am and run year-round. The unique features of this type of core group is to be familiar with the Bible (construction, history, writing styles, etc) and doctrine.
Connect Groups are primarily on Wednesday nights at 6pm and take as long as the Bible study requires. The unique features of this type of group is life application and fields of interest.
D-groups meet at the preference of each group and re-enlist each fall and spring semester. The unique features of this type of group is accountability and group teaching.
