4F Campaign
COMMITTED TO THE FUTURE is a focused stewardship emphasis designed to help Mullins FBC grow spiritually as we collect funding for our Christian Life Center. Before we begin construction, sacrificial giving commitments are required. Our goal is to receive commitments of more than $2,000,000. This is a God-sized goal for our community, and He is calling His people to action. 4F gifts should be over and above regular budget giving. Giving commitments follow a 3-year giving cycle, beginning November 2024. And no one, except our financial administrator, will see commitment cards or know who is making contributions.
Hebrews 13:16 “Do not neglect to do what is good and to share, for God is please with such sacrifices.”
Sacrificial giving can be described as stretch giving. It’s when you give in such a way that something of value to you is given up. It fringes upon the comfort level of your lifestyle. It stretches you and it stretches your faith. Sacrificial giving stretches us and reminds us of our dependence on God’s provision. Spiritual growth comes as we exercise our faith.
1 Chronicles 29:14 “But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? For everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your own hand.”
Upon beginning our “Committed to the Future” emphasis, each member of our church is challenged to prayerfully consider how you might give sacrificially. There is only one way for you to decide your commitment. You must SEEK GOD FIRST and ask Him to reveal His plan for your commitment. God may stretch you. Then your faith will be strengthened as you learn to depend more and more on Him to fulfill the commitment He has laid on your heart to give.
2 Corinthians 9:7 “Each of you should give what you have decided in your hearts to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
We are being asked to make a God-sized investment in the future of our church. With hearts overflowing with love, as evidenced by your generosity, ask God if He is directing you to give with: cash or check, online giving, donor advised funds, stocks, IRA, real estate or other assets.
